If you love films, meeting new people, buzzing environments and to learn something new – apply to be a part of the exciting DokuBaku volunteer’s team.
We are looking for enthusiastic and committed volunteers who are interested in new challenges, with a willingness to dedicate their time and energy in helping to deliver one of Azerbaijani’s largest cultural events: the 3rd edition of the DokuBaku IDFF, which takes place from 2nd to 6th October, 2019.
As a volunteer you will have the opportunity to be involved in a variety of festival support roles; from manning festival tickets and information desks, looking after the festival's guests, ushering audiences to the event venues, as well as filming, photography, interviewing, content writing and so much more.

Every department needs help in a wide variety of areas. There is a place for all abilities and experience levels on the volunteer team. To find the best fit for you, we will assign you to festival's departments based on your preferences, experience, skills, and availability which will be described on your application form. We will do our best to assign you to the department that you will be happy with.

Requirements & Rewards
Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age;
Commit to a minimum of 20 hours of volunteering;
Attend pre-festival volunteer meetings & training sessions;
Receive, read and respond to emails – our primary mode of communication;
Festival merchandise and other perks to volunteers committing the minimum hours required.
DokuBaku is the first and only independent documentary film festival in Azerbaijan. It will be impossible to hold DokuBaku without the staff members and volunteers. On October 2nd to 6th the third edition of the festival will take place in Baku, Azerbaijan.
