DokuBaku IDFF has completed a month-long intensive program for Azerbaijani participants trained by experienced menthors to make their documentaries with the highest possible abilities.
The training was held between 11 November and 06 December 2019 in Baku in collaboration with Restart Film School and The Azerbaijan Union of Film-makers.
"The Audience Award" went to the Swiss director Laura Coppens for her film "Taste of Hope" (Switzerland).
The training was attended by 10 young local directors. At the first week, between 11 and 15 November participants had lessons with Igor Bezinović in theory and practice in directing/storytelling. At the second part of workshop, in December, participants have edited shooted material with Hrvoslava Brkušić. Would like to note that the participation at the workshop was for free and participants are still in touch with our menthors. We hope that soon we will be able to watch these movies within the DokuBaku IDFF.
As the winner in this category, Leyli will travel to Wiesbaden, Germany to participate in the GoEast Talent Lab within the GoEast Film Festival. Leyli will get 5 000 Euros if she wins the Talent Lab.
